OK, I found another Super Beetle and we don't know exactly what year it is. The VIN starts with 134, but I can't find that number on the VIN ID section of this site (only goes up to 119). Some other sites that I found show numbers going up to 159 and I *think* this one must be like a '76 or so based on those sites. But unless I'm wrong, the way the VIN number works is that the 1 would be a Beetle, the 3 represents a Super, and the 4 would then mean it was a 1974. Anyone that can help? If I missed something blatantly obvious, I apologize :)

| The 4 means it's a '74. You're right, the VIN site doesn't break out supers or convertibles. There should be a month/year sticker on the driver's side B pillar along with the complete VIN. |
