I got the body on today! I had a bunch of friends come over after we went to the dirtybike track and played some football.
And i might be paying a friend of a friends to do my a-arms!! |

| Alright i had a body lift on the baja and took it off now im stuck with bolts that dont fit...... Now im wondering what size is a regular bolt to bolt on the body????? |

| Ok, body is on, and i have welded some of the cage, going to get some tubing and work on those rear shock mounts, and i am gettin ready for the front end. I wont have pics until lke saturday, because the camera is in texas with my dad hunting. |

Alright i decided to buy this beam instead of doing arms because of budget: http://www.chircoestore.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=186_187_188&products_id=1071 .
My question is becaue it is 6 inches wider do i need a r&p or can i use my stsndard vw box?? |

| Ya it is, but im gonna do what one of the guys did on here, they cut a section out were the beam bolts up and put nuts were the link bolts in at. ill show ya. |

Well today i got the passenger and drivers sides door windows in, and the inside door handles, i also got the the right rear trailing arm fixed, and found out my dad has a cut & turned balljoint beam i can use till i get to the point of going linkpin.
I also worked on the brown baja im selling, to get more money out of it. :lol: |

Well. this weekend i got some dom and chromoly from one of my dads buddys!! Gonna start workin on the cage, and rear shock mounts, how do you guys think i should do the rear shock mounts???
I think i am gonna Do the beam swap tomorrow to..
If my cage is 1.5 dom can i use some smaller chromoly to tie into it in some places?? |

your lucky you get to work on your projects all year round!
i cant do nothin' right now, its about 11* out right now.

haha ya. It's awesome to work on them all year round. I can't do the a-arms because the po that built the cage didn't build it strong enough. And I don't have the money to redo it at the time so I'm just going with a biggr beam for now. But i will back for the a-arms for sure!! My dads buddy is a machinist and can practically show me how to do anything so I'm sure he would help me withthe arms. I have used solid works and autocad to draw them up to! |

ha exactly man! i got a couple buggys and other fun toys to screw around on while mine is down.
The only problem is no license yet :(. |

Awesome you're doing that stuff when you're 15. I wish I started doing that level of work, then.

Thanks Man!
Well i got the cut and turned front beam on it for awhile! and the rear brake lines hooked up! Now im gonna work on brakes and bolting down the body some more. And look for some material to build my new dash! |
