heres again is my list of local favorite hotels....remember motel spelled backwards is...let om?....see ya soon...Hampton inn (new)# 727-322-0770- (1200 34th st N ,holiday Inn (nice)# 727-520-7800 (2171 54th Ave n) this is at the intersection of I275 and 54th Ave N its about 15 minuets from downtown st pete....ramada Inn 727-525-1181(5005 34th St N),also there is the days inn 727-321-2958( 650 34th st N.) its a little older place but close to downtown....Econo Inn station (451 34th st N )727-323-7470...... :!:

Sunshine Treffen crew are in Jekyll Island, GA this am headed to Manatee & a few straight to DeSoto today.
so far we've had
2 lost gas caps (80 vanagon)
1 baby w/ fever and ER visit.
1 lost hubcap
1 crushed 77Bay back bumper
and a bad headgasket on a 93 Eurovan 2.5L I5 in Mom's 86 vanagon (in tow) we're trying to source next day for the St Pete area this coming wkend. found the source of pinging was bad sparkplugs (broken electrodes)

anyways, leaving Jekyll today

So I'm excited about the Pier Show tomorrow. Getting things prepped for the trip in the morning. Just had a touch of rain and I hope it all clears out for tomorrow. Candace and I will be remembering our little girl Lilah Marie this weekend. Today would have been her 1st Birthday. We'll be taking some Preemie Baby outfits to the NICU Ward at Shands Hospital in Gainesville,FL to donate in her name this coming week. If anyone else would like to donate a new outfit we would be glad to take them. I'm sure you could donate to your local area hospital as well. Someone is always in unexpected need as we were. We'd love to meet you if you have a outfit donation. If we happen to not be near my car and trailer feel free to leave them inside the camping trailer. My mother and family made up some more Ladybug Dash Magnets if anyone would like one to stick on their dash. Ladybugs are a little reminder to us of Lilah as Candace had wanted to decorate Lilah's room in Ladybugs. Another thanks to those that helped us in our time of need. We'll be glad to be the presense of our friends and family this weekend. Thanks everyone and lets have a great time.

WOW...its Friday april 30th...I just came home from being @ Camber the shop looks GREAT!!...were gonna have a BLAST TONIGHT!hope everybody can make it...dont let the slight chance or rain stop ya,we got LOTS of places to get out of a shower!!...so if your coming fron the Interstate,we are directing ALL traffic to enter from the EAST(US19 side)....NON VWS will be parked outside the perimiter.So lets get the VW polished up!!...dont forget the Eagles lodge next store has a FULL BAR TOO,OPEN with drink specials for the wild weekend)5pm-11pm)$5 bucks ahead...see ya soon...Sven out
