Hey Sven! Got my Golden Ticket today in the mail! Candace thought I was nuts when I said ,"Hey I got a Golden Ticket!" and then whipped out a cool real "Golden Ticket". She says....... "What? Let me see that!". So she is now totally stoked for the upcoming show. I need that cool spot you parked me in the year before last. My Mini Camper rides like a low rider so I don't know if I can get up on the sidewalk anywhere else. I'll definately be there to hang out with all the cool VW peeps now. We need a Golden Ticket Update!

if the golden tickets are sold out, no worries, Spa Beach is the place to be anyway. Its got shade, grass, much more room, and you can dip out early if you need to.

I live in Sarasota and am attending the show at the pier ( #8 ). It would be cool to get a group together to cruise up there. Let me know.

Not to deter from the positive side of things and this show. Some of you here know me personally. My girlfriend Candace and I had a little baby girl named Lilah Marie who was born on April 30th 2009.

She passed away May 12th following a procedure to correct a heart defect she was born with. We are going to celebrate her birthdate and memory the weekend of this show. Candace and I will have Lady Bug magnets that you can stick to your dash in memory of Lilah Marie. I made some memorial stickers for her with her photograph on them if you would like one at the show. To bring something positive we'd like to donate clothes for premature babies to our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where Lilah was before her surgery. Many parents we met never there had a clue their babies would be born early or just small and weren't prepared. We weren't. Lilah was born 4 lbs 7 ounces and she was way bigger than a lot of the other babies. If you would like to donate a new Preemie Baby Outfit we will donate it for you to the NICU Unit in memory of our little girl Lilah Marie. Boy or Girl outfits welcome. A needy family will be grateful for your gift. Items can be left in my Beetle or my Teardrop Camper. We of course would love to meet everyone that feels compelled to donate. To all those that helped us in our time of need I would like to extend another special "Thank You". No way we could have done it without our VW family.
