I have a 72 super, I removed the drums to do a brake job and found that my wheel bearing seals are leaking a little and I want to replace them. I want to order the correct parts, I am having trouble locating exactly what I need. Is this what I need.. ?

http://www.bughaus.com/Axle_Seal_Kit_-_311598051A.htm

It isnt listed for the 72 super.. but if you go here then it says it is what I need....

Any help would be appreciated. I just want to get the correct parts.

Thanks,

Steve

Just pulled mine apart last month - that first pic is all you need - simple repair once you get into it.

Thanks.. I was wondering why it didnt have the super listed.. made me concerned it wasn't the correct part.

Do I need two seals since I have IRS? Or will just the kit from Bughaus do what I need? Any help would be appreciated, sorry I am new to this. I watched the bug me video and I suppose the steps to replace this is the same as this link...

Just did mine on my 71 standard. irs has two seals. the one in that bearing cover that is pictured and one that goes on the cv axle side of the stub axle. so if the backside is not leaking. just do the seal in that bearing cover. german seals are way better btw

Seals are 113 501 315 G x2 per axle and the ring is 113 501 291 B x1 per axle. Good luck
