Hi Guys, Tried searching to no avail...
I have a slightly rotted lower windshield frame. The lip that the seal fits over is gone. Any suggestions on a fix? I have a second parts car, but I havent pulled the window yet to see if it is good. That seems like an awful critical area to be cutting an welding. I was also thinking about a glassed in repair, to build up the seal channel. |

| Welding would be the correct way to repair the rot. I personally have never been a fan of fiberglass for any kind of metal repair but everybody has their own opinion on that one. If the parts car is in good shape, I personally would cut and weld in the section from that car (welding VERY slowly to avoid warpage). You will come out with a stronger repair that way. |
