There is no accessory position on a Bug. The memory wire for your radio should go to the last fuse in the box (furthest to the passenger side). The switched wire for the radio can either go to the same spot if you don't want to have the car running to listen to tunes, or the first (or second) fuse so that it only comes on when the ignition is on.
Setting it up so that's it's always on means you have to consciously remember to turn the radio off when you leave the car. Setting it up the other way means you can only listen to it with the engine running. Simply turning the key on without starting the engine just so you can listen to the radio is bad for the ignition system, points usually.

The orange can be connected to a headlight fuse so the radio will brighten at night.

For switched power use the buzzer wire, as below, so you will have an accessory position and be able to listen with the engine off. Radio goes off when you pull the key out. The T1 connector is right by the fuse box and easy to get at. Swap one wire in the fuse box and you can create a headlight warning buzzer at the same time. Way more useful than the key-in buzzer.

If your rear defrost does not work use it's relay under the back seat or just buy any simple relay.
