| So I'm installing a rack & pinion, will it be OK to weld to my front beam or will it make all of the grease all jacked up? I just took out the torsion bars and regreased them a few weeks ago, so it has new grease in it right now. |

| weld away, its not gonna effect it enough to make a difference. |

| keep the welds short, let it cool after about 1" max, wrap in a cold wet rag if your in a rush but must be dry and clean when you weld. rember only you can prevent grease fires (in your best smokey the bear voice) |
