An old timer VW man sold me all his VW stuff which included all types of heads and cranks etc. Is there a website or somewhere I can get info by the part number? I also got a 1940's 36 hp engine I would like to know more about. Still got to find the number on it but I suppose theres one on it somewhere. Thanks a bunch!

http://www.vagcat.com/ may have ETKA online. Once a VW part is NLA the part number is removed from their systems, so tracking NLA parts is hard.
Man this is just another sad reminder that KVS is no longer with us...He was a walking, talking part number reference! RIP Karl. |

| Tom Wilson's engine rebuilding book has great info on parts identification, descriptions, and numbers. |

| If you really have a 1940s engine, the engine number is right on the cast-in generator stand. Post some photos of the engine please... |
