hello all. I used to be heavy into vw's(mainly baja) and then i rolled my baja... twice. so I got quads. they took up all my time and money. for a few years. lately i've gotten the urge to build another baja. So I've been working on a pan now. it's an early pan that i put irs gussets on , relocated the ebrake and heater cable tubes in the frame horns and am going to relocate the shifter and swap out ebrake handle unit from a later pan, so i have a heater lever. I suck at welding and it's a lot of work, but it keeps me busy. I have a 64 body i'm going to throw on the pan with a 3 inch body lift. I've always liked the older body's. alot simpler. I got a lot of work ahead of me, just wanted to let you all know, i'll probably be chiming in here and there with some pics and if i need help. so Talk to you soon. I'm excited. later

Once a vdub'er, always a vdub'er....welcome back. Good luck with your latest build and post up a pick so we can see what you're working with: if not the baja, then pics of the gf/wife will do.....

yeah that one is a little easier to work on, i just flip it upside down or whatever. it's screams through the sand. it's a blast to play with and when i wreck it i don't get hurt
