Thinking about picking up these brakes tomorrow:
http://www.gex.com/empi/?type=13&code=16-2278-0&page=277
16-2278-0
My question, I can run them in conjunction with the floor brake, meaning I press the floor brake and all 4 brakes activate, pull one lever and only one rear locks up, so on, correct?
Thanks |

If the rear brakes are a single circuit, then yes, the turning brake just goes downstream of the master cylinder, and splits to both rear brakes. The brakes still work normally.
There are different sizes for disc vs. drum, and single vs. dual handle. I didn't know EMPI even made turning brakes. . . |

| I doubt Empi has anything to do with them but to sell them. I looked up the PN at work and those are the ones we have in stock, so I'm thinking of getting one...well at it I get to replace my rear swing axle backing plates... One of the adjuster stars is losening up due to the lack of retaining clips on both sides.......... :x |
