What do you guys think about 3" wider, but stock length rear arms??

Im not sure, but i think that will cause a lot of camber for a little travel. Why would you want to do this? Sure you will have a wider stance, but you will also have the same travel as stock and you will have to get longer axles for this to work.

I'm thinking of using longer arms in the front and the wider arms in the rear to match. I can get a really good deal on the parts. I cant make my car any longer or it wont fit in my trailer.

not exactly true, it would allow the arm to drop a bit lower with the same cv angles...

as long as the car is rear engine , it's not getting longer by using longer rear arms,, wheel base will be longer , not the car.

my car goes in the weekend warrior first and then bike and quads behind it. I work around the engine, quads go on either side. If the wheels are further back 3" the quads wont fit.

Has any body seen 2" longer, stock width rear trailing arms? I would like to put them on my class 11 look a like and trim the fenders to clear the tires. how much more travel would 2" longer give?
