Help
Just purchased a full set of turtle backs for my 78 convertible. Does any one know what i need to buy to mount the wheels correctly. I have been told that the surface is flat not tappered and stock lugs will not work. Some folks claims that stock lugs can be used, others are telling me that i need special mounting lugs.If I need special hardware can anyone suggest where to buy the parts.
Thanks
Matt

You definitely need to clarify what you mean or everyone is going to give you a smart-ass response. I was half-tempted too, but Merlin beat me to the punch. :) |

restojohnny answered this question in your other turtleback thread....
"you can even use your stock lugbolts" first response to your question. now if you wanted to jazz it up a bit you could get chromed stock style bolts. or a set of lug nut covers for them.
if they are missing the center caps and thats part of your question then get ready to run without them while you go on a LONG search for some. several people have talked about repoping them but to my knowledge no one has and 9 out of 10 sets for sale DON'T have the caps...ken.... |
