How hard is it to replace a speedomter cable
Ok this one got me.I just had my engine rebuilt the mech that did it called an said he wanted to put a oil sump pump on it .Ok he got it an I paid for it but when I pick up the car it wasnt put on an I ask why an never really got a staight answer can someone tell why he would not have installed it? |

Speedo cable - 30 minute job. Don't loose the C clip on the lf front axel spindle cap!
Oil sump pump? The oil pump is on rear of engine (not really sump). Maybe you have wrong one - depending on year/cam - it could be a flat gear or recessed gear on the cam. It has to mesh with cam or no oil is pumped. Maybe he checked old one and it was in good shape or superior to some of stuff currently available. Melling used to be a good popular quality brand oil pump. Or did you mean an extended oil sump - which increase oil capacity? |
