Hey Guys.
My dad has found a 1972 VW Poptop Kombi Lowlite.For $1200aus,we have had a look around on the net and magazines and cant seem to find many.Are they more rare the lowlites? im pretty sure we are going to buy it anyway.

lowlights just mean they aren't the later models with the lights just under the windshield
72 is a crossover year - still had the 68-71 front end but the taillights of the later 70's busses |

yeah,i found that out on wiki.lol but do you think they are more rare to find.? Are they worth restoring? they look pretty cool with the lights down the bottom and thick bumper lol

| 72's are not rare. they are all over around here.check the frame for rust and the floors as they are alot harder to repair than a bug |

| oh ok,i still like the look of them.lol umm yeah it does have rust hence the reason for the price.But the body and chassis is straight some rust on the side of headlining only in spots ,easy to remove.I'm looking froward to the restoration. |
