after second thinking it you might have to take the motor out. It looks like the bottom mounts onto the frame horn bolts. What you should do is buy a transmission strap kit and put that in while the motor is out. Then you will also have a better anchored trans. and you will have another place to mount the bottom bumper mounts. As far as the fenders go, i think you will have to wait until you get the fenders before you can figure out where to make cuts

ohh yeah and the bars on the side of the bumper will bolt onto the upper shock mounts if you bought the mounting kit with the bumper

a good rule to follow is to mount the fenders and other pieces first and they will show you where to cut. there are different shaped fenders and size so there is no given spot to cut. if you dont plan on running the piece above the engine, they will seem to hang out the rear alittle. i started with all three rear pieces and after i got rid of the upper piece i trimmed the fenders and metal up tight. |

No need to pull the engine. Just remove one framehorn bolt at a time with the engine supported by a jack. Install the brackets loosely and line up the cage to them.

be forewarned, i bought those same exact fenders and the fiberglass lip on the side isn't quite big enough for it to line up right with the body lines unless you drill at the very edge of the lip (for the holes to mount it to the body). i encountered quite a few hours of cursing because of the undersized edge.

I think i know what he is saying about the fenders. the side that the bolt goes through on the fender(where it sucks up against the car) isn't very tall, therefore you have to drill the mounting hole up where the fenders bend is. in the 90 degree corner. hope didn't make this more confusing for you. when you do mount them use good and sturdy fender washers(at least 1-1/4 in outer dia.) I've acutally used old body bolt washers, they work great cause the are rectagular in shape and don't bend and are the perfect hole size.
