Anyone have a pic they could share of the back of a doghouse shroud with the cooling flaps installed correctly with the linkage and spring in place?
Also anyone have a source for the correct spring for the linkage?

I've taken photos of that recently. I'll put some up this evening, if I remember. (Assembled and installed my doghouse engine in the last couple of weeks.) |

Call your local dealer and ask for 113 119 279. It should only be 3-4 dollars and they usually will have it in 3 days or less. Tell them to check the VWoA system it's more than likely sitting in Jersey. They have a good stock on a lot of old parts. This is not the place to try and make something work. If the tension is incorrect either way the system will not function correctly. Good luck |

Bobby,
Thanks! A OEM VW number was more than I could hope for.

Perfect if you want to half ass it. Spend the extra buck and have it working as designed. Fast, easier and CHEAPER rarely solves anything. |

No problem at all. If you need any other numbers just PM me. I used the spring clips on this customers setup as he thought they looked cool. There were only 6 left in the states when I got these but the other style shown there were plenty. The washers were in good supply as well. Good luck
