Ok so yesterday I was working on my car and I noticed when I pulled each spark plug wire
The spark jumps from the direction of the spark plug to the distributor cap
is this normal or is the other way around and what can cause this |

| Don't worry about it. If it is sparking in the engine then it is most likely working correctly. You may just be concerning yourself over an optical illusion. |

| Electricity takes the path of least resistance. I wouldn't worry about it Alex. |

| You're worried about spark color within the spark plug gap, in a spark plug. Not its color or *apparent* direction with an arbitrary distance from the spark plug boot to the cap. |

Despite the fact that we say "electricity" and current flow from positive to negative terminals on the battery, in reality electrons flow from the negative to positive leads in the circuit. So your spark should be starting from the body of the plug, going to the center then to the distributor etc.
Sounds like its all working fine, put it back together and go for a drive. |
