| Bought good CV boots from a local shop. The boots are not overstreched, but the edges are cracked up, one failed and tore. The boots are only about 3 months old. There are on type 2 cv's on a 1970 baja bug. The rear suspension is stock. This is the second set of cv boots I have installed in about 6 months. What is the best CV boots to use. |

| unless you want to run bigdollar flanges and cv boots (like from McKenzees) make sure you get fresh chinese rubber/thermo plastic, I think ozone kills them, rots them even when your not using them. Real german vw parts are top quality but difficult to find... |

Are you using the proper CV grease and not general purpose grease? GP stuff will eat the rubber. You must use CV grease which won't.
Good Luck! |
