| This is my first beetle and I'm looking for some assistance. Has anyone installed retractable shoulder belts for the backseat of a 68 beetle? My big question is where to mount the shoulder bracket and the retractor itself. Any help would be great. Thanks. |

There is a screw fitting already there for exactly this purpose.
In the picture on the right, you'll see a screw plug just above the popout window mount in this 1968 manual.
Yours is probably under the headliner.
