Hi,

Can anyone upload some pics of the BA6 exhaust?

My is missing and i want to make it myself.
I have someone who can bend the stainelss steel tube for me.
What's with the end cap that MUST be there?
I just need to see how the whole thing looks like...

Thanks!

Here you go:

I've got one lying around, I can snap some pics this weekend if you want. The image shows both the early and later exhaust layout. The early style is in the box (no. 22/21).

NOS Eberspächer BA6 parts.

Exhaust labeled T2 Bus Abgasrohr Standheizung

The exhaust should exit the vehicle on the left side, just in front of the rear tire. Has dents in it to clear the frame.

Ok, that helps a lot.

I just have no idea how mine got lost.
Could it fall off? Or maybe the previous owner took it off.

Thank you guys for help, this site is really great.

I made one out of off the shelf exhaust parts. Not a replica of the original but it served it's purpose well.

Thanks for that picture. I'm going to do something like that.

Another question:
How hot are the exhaust gases at the exit from the pipe?
If I would park in some high grass, could that ignite?

It's usually not too hot, but I'd avoid the tall grass just the same or knock it down in that area first.
