Tied a tire to the front of my truck and with a push I was able to get it started in first and drive up and in the garage!! Now the restoration can begin. Still wondering what I will encounter with the clutch when I pull the motor??

It will probably fall out in your hands if rust is the only issue. Do check your pilot bearing and probably go ahead and replace it. Pilot bearing failure is fairly common and gives no warning.

That's right the clutch will come apart so easy you think it couldn't have been stuck. But it was.

You may see some rust stains on the flywheel. Just wipe it off with a clean rag and put it back together.

It may come loose if you prop the pedal down with a stick, leave it in gear and push the bus back and forth. Sometimes this works.

Or, if you can start it in gear and drive around with the pedal pushed down it will probably break loose. This is not recommended because of the danger of getting in an accident. Maybe if you live on a lonely country road but not otherwise.

it is hard to say what you will find trying to seperate the engine from trans. The forces are different. One is a shear force and the other is pulling apart.
