Well i went ahead and bought the Bus that I asked you all about a few weeks back.
Went and collected it today with a tow truck, it does run and drive but aas it has been off the road for at least 10 years i didn't think even a 7 mile drive was worth the risk.
Needs some work but i got it for a good enough price to make oit worth while.
I will post a few more pics once i have uploaded them:

how does the ac compressor get run by the engine?
i have seen a few pictures but i am not sure how it is driven.
I think i will most likely pull all the ac stuff out. is it worth anything? |

There should be a belt hidden between the cooling fan and the block. |

Love those '79's!
I sold my AC unit on the Samba for $500 a few years to a Samba member in Georgia - no need for it in Northern Indiana.
Congrats on your new bus and good luck with your efforts. This group is awesome and has great knowledge. Also, make sure you check out www.ratwell.com. |
