so for me i have decided that bays are the best choice and have paid for my first bus. :) as much as i like the splitties i have sat in almost every year all the way up til the last year and even with a reduced seat padding im just way too big for them. i had also decided for the sake of my sanity trying to find a decent westy with minimal rust i bought a standard which i will redo to suit my combatbusinessosity(yes its a word cause i said so OK?!).

so i guess im saying WOOT!!! first bus, 50 millionth vw. i think ill own this bad boy for a long time to come. wish me the uber luck.

Good luck! Bays definitely own splitties (at least in my opinion), especially if you love to take road trips and go camping.

well heres the deal the late splitty are great looking but the egronomic improvments for our fat butts and gigantor syndrome just make me happy. plus this bay has pretty much no rust and if it does its surface rust and minor body work to come back to nice looking. the engine was just "rebuilt" but who knows what has actually been done. its a 71 so i got front disc off the bat and its got a new front windsheild too.
