I had a leak dripping into the car from the sunroof.
I seen where the front drain hoses were. So I pulled them up and out , and I blew them out..."from the bottom of the hoses", and all kindas of stuff come flying out the top. Their nice and clear now.
Now I know they kind of slid down inside the body, and didn't feel like they were attatched to anything. Do I just slide them down back in the body where they came out?
I don't want the water to drain down and rot anything out. Kind of odd they were just slid down in the body, as in the photo though.
Also, I tried to look underneath, and cannot find the rear drainholes. I have a photo here, where there supposed to go to, and cannot see them. Do I need to remove the running boards to see them, are there two on each side for the rear? Thanks in advance for any help. Always appreciated!

My 71 super has 4 drain ports, one on each corner if that helps any. I havent followed them to see where they end but it looks pretty close to your picture. Lemme check real quick. Yep they follow that path and seem to just end in the abyss down in the quarter. If you remove your rear 'door' panels you can feel them in the crevice between the quarter and the inner fender.

I had to cut out part of the headliner to unclog the drain hoses on mine. :(

Hopefully you won't have to do that. I had tried shooting compressed air through there, pouring down draino, and whatever else, and decided that was just going to be the best solution at the time. I was tired of water dripping onto me while driving or having wet seats after a storm.

irrc - when I unplugged mine, I put a length of cable on a drill and snaked mine out. - helped loosed the blockage.
hope y'all get them worked out.

My front ones cleaned out very easily. My leak may have stopped, it was only coming from the front. But I figure, might as well clean out the back ones also, just to be safe. I need to peak again tomorrow at it.

you have to remove your running boards in order to locate the rear drain holes where the hoses end.
As far as the front, I don't understand exactly where the hoses end (diagramm).
I have reroute my front hoses by opening holes to the front wheel houses and the hoses end just over the front wheels.
If i remember correctly, you have to cut your headliner in order to plug the hoses back to the sunroof drain holes.
I hope this helps...

Thanks very much!! I was wondering how to get to the rear holes. That was helpful.
I am hoping all my hoses are connected. I know the front ones are. Hopefully the back ones too. I will pop the boards off today.
