I am sourcing for a bunch of bus parts, and so I have been searching the Classifieds and marking possible items for follow-up.
I have now a long list of items. Is there a way I can sort the list (7 pages) by seller?
I've searched the forums but there's no info available on this.
Thanks for your help. |

No, there is no sorting for that page.
It's usually best if you contact sellers as soon as possible. People consistently contact me to say "I can't find ad 123456, what happened to it?" because the parts sold. We don't give out contact info on deleted ads.
I could add the seller name to that page if people would find that informative but this would not make it sortable. |

Thanks for the reply.
If it's not too troublesome, it may be good to add seller ID info - what I do now is to cut and paste the pages to a wordprocessing document, and sort it there (by location, after deleting the timestamp - very fiddly to do). If the seller ID is included, this makes the job easier easier.
Another way around this may be to allow exporting of Watched Ads to an external/local file so that people can import this into a spreadsheet, so that they can sort/manipulate the data there, or even attaching it to someone via email for info or follow-up.
Thanks. |

If you see something for sale that you need, arrange to buy it. Click on "view other items" from the seller and see if you can buy more than 1 thing from the same seller.
In my opinion, you are wasting your time exporting and cutting & pasting because 1/2 the parts won't be for sale anymore by the time you get back to the seller(s).
As an example, I only have a few ads and I sell something almost every day. If you saw a new ad from me and tried to ask me about a week later, there is a good chance it would be sold.
If anyone else is interested in seeing the seller's username added, let me know. |

| Thanks for the reply. You're probably right - I'll see how it goes. |
