Jack, here's my video of the drive down.
Just loop the video 2300 times for the genuine effect, you can pretend you're along for the ride!
40HP, I should'a brought a brick to push down the gas pedal.
On the floor for most of the drive.
61 mph on the flat, 65 if I was drafting a semi.
Cuddy is following in the Jersey Looker, you can see his misaligned headlights in the rear window for a second.
Be sure to click on "720p" for the full, HD glory.

Is date of Nov. 12, 2011 set in stone?
I have not reserved Ft. DeSoto yet. But I would count on that date. It is the 2nd Saturday of November. Will be booking the park in the next week or so. |

REVISED:
I also wanted to reitterate the new rule for award eligible buses. Bulli Brigade has always been a people's choice show and swap meet. The people who drive a split bus to Bulli Brigade select the winners every year. For obvious reasons(rarity and condition), many of the same buses have been selected and recognized over the last few years. Thus, to allow others a fair chance at winning, we will be giving past Bulli Brigade award winners special status. Winners from 2008, 2009 & 2010 will receive free access to Bulli Brigade if they drive the split bus that has received an award whether or not they owned the bus at its time of winning. It is the bus receiving the recognition of free entry not the owner. They will also receive a special window placard that will state what year they won an award and for what category. Thus, buses that won this year will be admitted free to Bulli Brigade for the next 3 years. However, these buses will be display only and not eligible for an award for a 3 year time period. However, if someone won an award in the 3 year time frame, but brings a different bus to show they will be eligible to win again. This system is to prevent the same buses from winning again and again, but not preventing owners of multiple buses from winning. We believe that if you build them, and drive them, then you should be able to win. But if the bus has won, then let someone else have their time to shine and make it fair. Hope that makes sense and I appreciate all past winners who have continued to participate and bring their awesome buses to Bulli Brigade. We may do some more tweaking to this special VIP Prior winner status, and I will post if we do. |

I like this and encourages those who DO win all the time to bring something different! I also like the "previous winner status" too. Good job BB crew!! =D> |

Do these new rules include the long distance award as well? And if so, is the bus excluded from winning the award a second time or is the driver? |

No, LDA is LDA....regardless if someone won the year before or within the past three years. This award is different. Distance is the focus, not necessarily the bus that was driven. To me this is what owning a bus is about. Driving it!
Thanks for asking for clarification Greg. |
