I'm going to go with a very typical buggy style roll cage. I am thinking about ditching the windshield and incorporating the glass into the cage. I am lucky enough to have a brother in law that does custom offroad stuff for a living so I will be working with him on making the cage meet my expectations.

Nice color. Are you going to paint the rims to match?

The rims are already a very similar color. That's what I was going for, the color match of the wheels.

Looks like Sunday may be the day! Got the spray booth ready for rent, just need to get a trailer ready to get it there. Stay tuned for the pics.

Everything looks great. I'm excited to see it completed.

I'm gonna try and take as many pics of the process as I can buy I tend to forget that I have a camera with me.

Why would you paint it before you've built the cage.

Finished the paint yesterday. My camera phone doesn't really capture the color well. The steering shaft bar is the most acurate as far as color goes. Still gotta do some color sanding though.
Base coat only

Ppg shopline paint. It's really one of the only solvent based paints available here I California still. The waterborn stuff is really expensive

Beautiful job, (from the start), can't wait to see the assembly. It's always exciting to see them at this stage, you've got to be pleased.
