You know, they're always seems to be one missing, with a regular 6mm bolt in it's place....

That was the case with mine, so I simply made a new bolt! I used a door hinge pin (1st oversize from Wolfsburg West) and a 6mm stud (same as the one for the oil strainer). Drill out the door hinge pin, tap it to 6mm, Loctite and screw the stud into the hinge pin. Then cut the pin to length and cut a slot into it.

These bolts are NOT available anywhere that I know of...So here's how you can make one yourself if you take your time.

Tools I used were a drill press, multiple drill bits and a cut off wheel. Sorry for the crappy pics, I'm using my camera phone

Here's the original:

Here's where it goes (and my dirty finger!! haha):

I'm trying to find an EASIER way as it's very difficult to drill perfectly centered into the hinge pin...I may start making and selling them. Contemplating other specialty parts as well

get in touch with a local machine shop, that parts not to hard to make in a cnc lathe. see what they will charge for a run of them.that way it will be all one part. then they could slot them on a mill for flat head.

Searched their catalog and their site.....I don't see the pivot bolts anywhere....That's why I made my own. I'm sure there is an easier way...but if you're handy enough, this is simply one way to make the repair without ruining the assembly

Wolfsburg West does have some of their own manufacture. Instead of a slotted screw head, it's an Allen head. Not sure of the part number, but if you call and describe what you're looking for, they do have them.

But if you're in desperate need for a pair, I do have some good used ones for $15/pr
