| I am putting in my door seals and am not sure if I'm putting them in correctly, anyone have pictures of their seals? I'm talking about the fat one that goes around the door, I put it in, now it is hard to close my doors! |

| There's only one way that it'll fit. Make sure the 90 degree angle is on the bottom latch side of the door. It'll be tough to close for awhile it's just how it is until the seal sets in better. |

Perfectly normal for a new seal. They'll take a bit of time to 'take a set' - then your doors should close easily. |

Hey there. I just put my door seals in like a week ago. Did you buy the glue that is supposed to go with them?
I noticed mine didn't close all the way but like they said its a new door seal thing.
the right door closes nicely now.
The left door doesn't well it does now at times. I forgot to put some glue on the bottom part of the door on and when I would open the car the door seal would pop out a bit and i couldn't shut it closed until i would push it back in.
I put glue just recently and it starting to close better, Just needs to get set in. Just make sure you push it in the rail all the way in as much as you can with the glue in it. I put the glue on the seal and then pushed it in. It holds quickly. |

I use this stuff but any ahesive designed for use with weatherstrip is good. The local autoparts stores carry it

Thats exactly what i used. they had orange and black. Get black so it wont show as bad in case you put too much.
Buy latex gloves as it will get in your fingers and its hard to take off. Trust me. |

WTF, 20 bucks?? For one 1.5 oz tube?
For what you "save" on that one you could just buy the 3M weatherstrip adhesive from the local parts place. Retails for around for $2.99. Or get a case of 5 for around 15 bucks. The yellow 5 oz tube is $6.24.
Any decent auto parts store carries it. Save yourself some shipping.
If you want to buy online heres 3M's webstore: http://www.shop3m.com/70070385854.html?WT.z_xsell=1&WT.z_refSKU=60455029946 |

| I was actually just about to install a door seal on my drivers side door and I bought some epoxy glue that said it could be used on rubber (and steel and many other things). Sound like it will work? |

Sure epoxy glue will work, overkill and that stuff is tuff to get off later. You only need a glue to hold the seal in place, not make a permanent bond with the door. |
