| If gas does get in the crankcase is the only solution to rebuild or is the anything else that can be done? |

If you get gas in your crankcase you need to drain your oil and fix your fuel pump. Usually the reason you get gas in the crankcase is because the diaphram inside the fuel pump is ruptured and letting gasoline get into your oil. I have heard of other tales on how gas got there but usually its your fuel pump. When you change your oil put some Lucas Oil Supplement with your oil and drive it.

| Nope... once you fix the problem, just drain the oil and refill. You might want to change it again after a few hundred miles if it makes you fell better. |

I think the important question that was not asked was how much gas and how long was it in the crankcase?
If it was for less than 20-30 miles, no sweat.
If it was a lot of gas and in there for a few thousand miles, then your bearings are shot. |
