whats that think make like 4 gallons to the mile?

closer to 8.. not quite 8, towing the buggy.

curious to see what the Baja get per while while towing the 18' trailer.

well, i already have a 32 foot motorhome with a ford 460. but not very practical for going to local shows. i go to a lot of shows, and really don't want to take that beast to every one of them, i only use it to go to the far away shows. for the relatively local ones (florida, tennesse, south carolina, etc.), id rather take a smaller trailer. i was thinking about a pop up.

the 18 footer is gone BTW. sold it.

Me too, 32' Gulfstream Sunsport, 460 Ford. Did the tent thing my whole life, wife and I hit our fifties and this is sooooooo much easier. Great tow vehicle and great comfort, we go in the winter as much as we go in the summer, maybe more!

I'd probably get a camper to put in my F250 and tow the bug before towing something more than a small storage trailer with my bug. I'm sure it could be done with alot of planning/engineering. Older motorhomes are cheap if you don't mind re-doing the interior.
