| No, I hadn't thought of that- It was not an original looking key. the door was. but I ordered new handles-so to have 2 keys and fresh handles-but their of the cheapest quality and one broke on install. Got them from GOWesty.com --hope they take them back. will try to rekey all my locks instead. would prefer a walk-in service--anyone know aplace in the San Diego area? AS fro the BYPASS--theft detourent?? |

Are they original handles? Guess you may not know. Hmm. Take off the slider door handle. Its the easiest for me. It should have a series of numbers on the shank. Someone VW oriented should be able to cut a key for you from that number. I think Gabes VW keys on here (located in Allen, Texas) can overnight them to you. |
