I have a stock 1600 dp in my baja. I am thinking about a Weber progressive 2 barrel. What size jets should I be looking at for street use?
Thanks,

The Weber 32/36 DFAV "progressive" carb is a good carb. The Holley 5200 is the same carb. I run it on my 2.0 ford engine with no problems other then cold starting. My buddy runs the same carb on his 1600. It HATES the cold and the 1600 (depending on your exhaust setup) does not do a good job warming it up. BUT, once warm, it provides plenty of power. I'm planning on making a heater for mine using coolant and my buddy is toying with the idea of an oil heater for his. The Weber 32/36 and Holley 5200 have a few different variants because of the many different auto companies that used it (Ford,Dodge, and at lease one more). On a side note, the 32/36 has 26 and 27 stamped on the side of the venturis. Anyway, On to the info you wanted! My buddy is running on his 1600
Top jets: main-170 Secondary-160
Side jets: main-60 Secondary-50
Velocity tubes: main-P66 Secondary P50
Bowl jets: main-140 Secondary-137
Mine are much bigger for the frod 2.0:
Top jets: main-180 Secondary-175
side jets: main-60 Secondary-50
Volicity tubes ??? I forgot to write them down
Bowl Jets- main-219 Secondary-159 |

Thank you very much. I see several different sizes in the ones I have looked at. I needed to know in case I grab one made for a Ford 2.0 or something else. This way I can re jet it to fit the 1600.
