I sold most of the stock parts to finance this build.
so far everything has been used parts ive found a one piecefront clip w/rear fenders and cowl, s&s 1 5/8 header (needs a baffle tho), kadron carbs to be installed later, and thats it so far
I need wheels badly but dont want to pay 89 a wheel so i have to run these lo pro 8spokes for now and i need bumpers even more.
also anyone have pics of onepiece front mounts its my first one ive built two bajas before but they had a 7 piece kits. |

so i went to install my s&s header and i realized that i didnt cut the panel under the rear package tray so i did temp cuts cause i had to hear it run. so today out comes the motor and more cuts. heres a pic of the header installed
i also painted the fenders and cowl black so they kinda match |

| i was just thinking that the bar might stop wheel tuck but just a thought. anyway i finished the front mount i would put up pics but it didnt come out well and plan to rebuild it, but a old guy once told me "If you dont fix it now, temp. repairs usually become perment." |

got the rear lights working today had to use the stock ones for now cause they were free. also i found out they groung throught the fenders so i had to run a wite from the housing bolts to a fender bolt to get them to work.
found a rear bumper and a different exaust for $40 just in my budget.
still need wheels, anyone in the sacramento area have any? i need atleast the rears and i can run stocks in the front |

| if your not tying it to a cage, i would pick up some new tubing and bend it to fit to go to your shock towers. the thought of having your firewall ripped apart or bent to crap sucks. |

I actually like the way this is going to mount better that the factory firewall mount. the factory puts it too close to the tins unless you use a 36hp tin. just my opinion
im really suprised i havent heard anybody ask why i cut up a 67. this guy i sold the bumpers to said "I feel like crying".LOL! |
