  View original topic: Mexican/Brazilian connections?

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if you guys might have any reliable Mexican or Brazilian connections for Bay parts? Specifically, I'm looking for a bellhousing from a 1.8 gas watercooled Bay, but good parts connections might help out some guys looking for other parts too.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

If you give me more information I could go to Mexicali, Baja California and either look for one in a junk yard or get a new one at the dealer and send it to you.

That is a inline 4 rabbit type engine right? if so you can use a diesel vanagon bellhousing it should be the same.

The bellhousing that I am looking for uses the standard "Rabbit" bolt pattern, but it stands the engine upright like it would be in the host vehicle. The Vanagon diesel bellhousing lays the engine over on it's side, which is something that I can't use.
