Miami V-Dubs is hosting a Poker Run through the streets of Miami this year during the VolksBlast VW weekend. Last year we did a cruise, this year we turned it up a notch with a Poker Run! For those who do not know how a Poker Run works, I'll try to explain... There will be a designated route and you will be instructed to stop and pick up a playing card along the way at different stops. At the end, who ever has the best Poker hand, wins!

Cash prizes will be awarded to the "top 3" & "worst" poker hands!! 4 prizes in total. GAME ON!!! Multiple Poker participants per vehicle are allowed, not just the driver!

Best of all, you get to cruise the streets of Miami in your VW at your leisure! Open to ALL VWs! Air or water-cooled. Any shape, model, condition. Just make sure it's road-worthy, follow and obey all traffic laws.

Registration: 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Driver's meeting: 11:30 am
Run begins: 12:00 pm (noon)

All vehicles must register to participate.
Registration for the Conga Run is $10 per vehicle and includes a custom made commemorative deck of cards, directions, participant sticker and event program while supplies last!
Also, remember to have your $1.50 toll available with you during the cruise to pay for the toll. SunPass is NOT valid, so you will need cash.

PLEASE READ THE RULES! Rules will be handed out with your registration as well. We highly encourage everyone to read the rules to get a better idea as to how the event will be held. GAME ON!

Commemorative event posters...$5 each! Every year we will have a poster, so don't miss out on this year's, especially those collectors out there. We will also have a limited amount of last year's left over Conga Cruise posters for $5.

Shirts are limited and so are the sizes, please get there early to claim yours. Only those who pre-ordered their shirts will be guaranteed their shirt! Others is first come until they sellout.

Proceeds will be donated to the “Police Officer Assistance Trust” (POAT). A local nonprofit organization that provides assistance to all law enforcement officers, who work within Miami-Dade County, and their families in times of hardship, personal crisis, or critical need. www.poat.org

I'll be there don't know how to play cards but you guys can guide me. But I know how to play dominoes!!! Mata la salida o bota gorda. LOL :lol: :lol: :lol:

I don't think we'll actually be play cards, everyone will just grab a card from each check point, and you'll probably have to make your best hand with 5 cards.

i have gotten good at the mexican train dominoes

maybe a few good rounds at the after meet up
