| Went through the duel / single thing last year. Tried holding out on my single system not just because people told me they would work better in the bumps but because I go through some deep water and worried about flooding duels with water. Finnally gave up on my singles innability to handle cooler weather without heat and bought a pair of Webber 34's. I'm sold! Wish I had done it alot sooner. And all that needing adjustment cr@p must be started by guys that still have singles or maybe top end race engines. I installed and adjusted my carbs by sound and the performance is awsome and I never touched them again! As for the flooding in deep water?...I made duel Snorkles out of raiator hose and ran the intakes through the firwall and into the back of my bug. Of course all I have back there is cage. No backseat or anything. But I no longer sand blast my air filters either. A Bonus! |
