Will do...probably tomorrow.
Ok, this was really quite simple. I went to a local bicycle shop and bought 8 feet of Jagwire 5 mm brake cable conduit. It cost $2 per foot. I wish I could tell you the exact part number but the receipt doesn't list it and the store is closed (blizzard conditions here in Maryland!) The only marking on the conduit is "Jagwire". But it's probably either ZHB601 or 60Y0026. (The original conduit measures 4 mm, I imagine that size Jagwire might work too although I don't know what the inner diameter would be).

The inner diameter is about 2.5 mm and seems to have a non-stick lining (possibly the L3 liner??)...though I added lithium grease anyway.

At the time I was unable to locate the correct heater cable so I thought I'd try bicycle brake cable instead--$5 each for two. It's braided so I don't know if or how well it would have worked in compression. The unsupported length would have been a couple inches but fortunately I won't need to test it once I buy the correct cables from WW.

I ran the conduit through the existing tubes that run through the tunnel. In the photos you will see the bicycle brake cable, but I'll be removing those. I've not completed this job yet so I can't comment on its performance, but I must say the housing really seems sweet!

There are two steel tubes running through the tunnel (hard to see it here).

Exiting the tunnel on the driver's side. It just loops forward under the brake line and back to the floor flap.

Another view at the controls.

^^ Very nice! You supplied enough information that I should be able to get what I need from the local bicycle shop.

I just ordered the new cable from WW, we'll see how it goes.
