If I run an electric fuel pump can I remove the mechanical pump, or do I need anything to keep gears in place?
Just cover the fuel pump hole with a plate?
Thanks

No gears there to worry about. Just cover it.

Thanks for the answers.
Can I just remove the rod and leave the pump for a cover and a back up?

| Yep, just keep the rod in a safe place so you know where it is when you really really REALLY need it! |
