For Randy's perusal, a stock factory valve cover install. All four covers on the two brand new factory engines I just picked up were installed with the VW symbol upside down, and all the bales were installed with the center bend pointing up.

I thought so, but a few members (some with years of experience) claim that's the wrong way and we're all nuts. Glad to see I'm as nutty as those dudes in the factory :wink:
