| Adjusting spring plates and decided to replace bump stops while everything is apart. Before I just pull, how do these come off? Pull off? How best to put new ones on? |

Try pulling to the side, not vertically...
You just push on the new ones. Be sure they catch ok, you don't want to loose them.
