| Whoa, Joel! I just took a look at your videos... That's so cool! Love the way that motor sounds. Reminds me of the 671 Detroit Diesels I worked around as a kid. |

it sounds alot better in the flesh than my crappy cameras make out
inside it just sounds like a vw engine with IDAs but driving down a busy street is hilarous cos outside it sounds like a WRX and all the hoons/revheads spin around not expecting to see a VW |

There is an STI and a Bug with a 1904cc that both live in my neighborhood and i can barely tell them apart (sound wise). the opposed motor just has that distinctive sound =P~ |

Subi engine is a common Vanagon swap, so go look in the their forums. |
