Please tell me you're kidding. I caused you to stop posting here for a month?? I'm not trying to cause anything, but again, you don't know me or anything about me, so please refrain from making ASSumptions. I love everything about my job, not too many people can say that. Don't take my being to the point and being blunt as being mean, nothing could be further from the truth.....just a joke dude, don't take things so personally. |

many of our familes left there for that reason.............
now we miss it so much we argue amongst ourselves here on this side of the pond so it reminds us of home....
In California we even elected an Austrian for Governor and now he is trying to get California removed from the USA as a state. Perhaps he misses home too and dreams of being a Prince or King with us as his feudal peasants...... http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125814283469047497.html

VDubTech - don't take me literally. You help so many people here. When you are in Sacramento, Cathy and I will take you out to dinner.
My observations of people who work at the DMV here is that the public is unthankful for all that the DMV staff does for them. It would be hard to work in that environment. |

| Bluecab - why is this bus so special? I would think that unless it was really special it wouldn't be worth the time. Has it been sitting indoors during this time or outdoors? |

i think its been indoors, if you saw the rust buckets here in england you would understand, 70 miles away they are 18 inches under water with the heavy rain, the weather here rusts the vans hence thats why we like your nice dry vans! i have a big garage to keep them in. |

I understand that but an east coast bus??? If this dude is too lazy to come up with paperwork or free up the wheels how are his picture taking skills? I'd want pages and pages of well lit shots of the lower periphery from inside, underneath and outside, they had bondo 27 years ago and it was really cheap back then  |

I work for the DMV Dan, and the OP was asking a DMV related question. I'm not just pulling this stuff out of thin air. I don't give answers because they "might" be right. |

most of time your answers are just another way to get the job done. your opinion on ANYTHING doesnt keep me from posting what worked for me in the past- even the distant past. in this case, it seems you have the updated answer- but let the topic poster choose which answer he likes rather than being the samba nazi. |

| I have the same issue with buying a 56 beetle out on Long Island. My problem is that the car was last registered in'82 to the sellers father, who has since passed away. The son I am trying to buy the vw from is working on the paperwork right now. I didn't reliaze that he had to register it. That might be hard to do in place of his dad. |
