Took my pressure relief plug out to put a gauge sender in and the spring came out and the little piston thingy. Which side faces up? The flat side or the other side? Thanx

Ok, good to know, will any major damage happen if I installed in upside down?

See thats the thing, I've been driving it like that for about a week. Just fixed it right now. Dunno what would've happened if I didn't flip the piston back around, but my engine didn't blow up. I feel much better now knowing its in the right way. Thanx for the help.
