I picked up this 69 camper last weekend. It has issues. My plan is to get it back on the road asap and fix it up as I go. I am the 4th owner. The 3rd owner was an elderly guy that bought it from his brother (the 2nd owner) who bought it from the original owner in 1971. So, from 71-09 it was in one family.
As found, sitting on jack stands
Got it home

I've found some suprising things in new busses, but never a kid! WoW!
Looks like a nice project, keep up with the pics. |

No, the kid's mine. I did find a Winchester Model 37 .410 shotgun in it.
It will be going back to it's rightful owner. |

| Dayum, that's a way better score than the rusty roach clips and melted crayons I always find :P |

What? You never rode in the closet as a kid? I used to love getting in the closet in my Dad's Westphalia, pull back the curtain and stick my tongue out at passing cars or something like that......never mooned them though... |

I pulled the engine out yesterday. I'm going to take it down to the short block and clean it up, check it out, reseal everything, etc. The PO said he parked it because the clutch just quit on him.
