| I am looking to repair or replace these channels as mine are rusty and missing a couple chunks out of them. I used the search feature which said Wolfsburg West carries the replacement channel, but I couldn't find it on their site. Should I just go with the Mexican Style seals. How good are those and who carries them? I really appreciate any info or help. |

You can never weld on a new one and them paint under it after so it will always rust. Shave it off and go with a Mexican seal. You do need to keep the channel across the top of the cowl from trunk lid hinge to hinge.
There are several suppliers not that sell them or Antonio Trejo can sell you the original VW part. partsvw@hotmail.com |
