so my turn signals do work. however, all of them are on all the time unless i turn the light switch off.
they dont even respond to the turn signal lever arm inside the car, there just on all the time.

im gonna chase down my turn signal switch tomorrow (i believe its E2, they dont make a good wiring diagram for my year the only good one is for a super which im told has slightly different wiring but i use anyways)

If your turn signal lamps don't come you do not have continuity in circuit ...

Check the way the +12 volt goes to flasher and then from flasher to TS switch then through switch to lamps .....

yeah they do come on just all of them all at once and they aren't affected by me hitting my TS switch.

ill just chase the wires to the turn signal switch tomorrow, my cheap pep boys light switch instead of the OG switch fix may have messed with the TS wiring a bit is what i'm thinking.

so glad i didn't just pay a shop to fix these problems, their simple and i'm glad i'm starting to understand them.

The more "A-hah" moments you have the more you understand.... Its a learning curve.... I've been playing with this stuff since early "60's" and still have those moments....

Scrap the stock switch and relay device and buy this. it has the TS switch and the EM flashers all in one. All you need is a flasher.

the "a-hah" moments are what i live for. better than school

between me figuring things out and your hints dale i've managed to learn more about electricity in the past 3 days than in an entire unit of "understanding electricity" in my stupid IB physics class.
thank you.

and yeah i might just junk my turn signal i dont think its working, still gonna do some tracing.

seems more and more like ill actually make it to the desert this weekend, unlike last weekend when i tried and none of my ligths worked :)

okay so i put my circuit tester on one of the wires from my TS switch (the blue box one, not at the steering wheel) and it lights up but i hear this rapid clicking coming from the turn signal box.

?

UPDATE:
okay, got it wired properly, however when i hit the turn signal switch the correct side comes on but instead of a steady click click it's about a hundred times faster, do i need a new relay?
