Would like to seal up the fiberglass hood to my Baja Bug. So far havent found a gasket that works. Havent had any luck with the stock gasket. Anyone found a gaskets that works?

You could maybe use something like weatherstripping, Try the rubbery foam kind, Thats what I used to seal the top part of my hood from rain and it works pretty good.
I dont have it all around, just up by the windshield.

IF the hood is fit on the car right you can glue a strip of felt on about 3/4 of an inch wide and it works pretty good. I have used the soft side of velcro before too, but it tends to shrink over time and exposing glue and making a mess. You can also try to visit your local paint supplier, they usually carry universal weather stripping.

Stock rubber seal on the stock parts and Home Depot weather seal on the fiberglass...
