Hi,

Big service due and I think I'm pretty sold that using synthetic engine oil will be worthwhile this time round.

Just wondered what other UK drivers might be using weight wise (20/50 etc). ?

Also any reccs for insulating the engine bay area, I've been trawling various threads for quite a while now but not much on engine bay, more inside the bus. My engine won't be coming out so ideally something easy to apply. One guy used a reflective mat but can't decide if thats a good idea or not, I would have thought heat escape is a good thing in that area.

I'm ideally looking for something that will brush on, insulate and be fire retardant. Not necc keeping heat in though.

Sound deadening and heat insulation are two different processes. I would suggest doing some searches on the internet and trying to get an understanding of how they both work.
